Book mounting

We never just stick artwork into a window mount, as this is not safe. We always book mount; your artwork is laid on an acid-free baking card using only acid-free tapes to make T hinges, occasionally we use other methods but only ever using conservation standard materials.

Conservation
At Creative Picture Framing, we use conservation mounts as standard. Our preferred mounts are Artcare by Nielsen Bainbridge. These mounts use a microporous technology that locks away harmful gases and keeps your artwork safe and sound.

Museum Mounts

Because your art matters, we use Timecare Heritage Museum – cotton core, it is 100% lignin free and passes all the tests for utmost care of your artwork. Suitable for museum mounting of prints drawings and photographs. Developed by the world-leading Conservation by Design, this is the industry-leading product.
